Hello everyone! In this devlog, we’re excited to reveal the fourth playable character in Fallen Saviors: Windu. Each member of the Beringaz team carries a unique background, personality, and reason to stand against the Saviors. Windu’s journey is perhaps one of the most mystical—beginning as a simple girl living an ordinary life, until fate intertwines her with an ancient power tied to the Wind Goddess of legend.

Windu’s Background Story

Windu was an ordinary girl in the city, working as a keeper at the local aviary. She lived a quiet life caring for birds, always accompanied by her loyal white companion, Snow. Unknown to her, she carried the bloodline of a legendary village once protected by the Wind Goddess.

Her life changed forever when the Saviors attacked. A fragment of crystal struck her, awakening the dormant power within. For the first time, Windu felt the wind itself answer her call. She didn’t transform into a new being, but inherited the essence of her ancestor—the Wind Goddess—through her own body.

One of the Saviors soon noticed this awakening and sought to recruit her. Windu refused, unwilling to serve under tyranny, and fled. That night, she dreamt of the Wind Goddess, who revealed the truth: the Saviors were not gods, but ancient demons who had plagued her village for centuries.

As Windu studied her heritage, their followers began to hunt her down. The city she called home fell into chaos, forcing her to fight back. Surrounded and nearly defeated, salvation arrived in the form of a masked ninja. Introducing himself as Draken, he helped Windu escape. This moment marked the beginning of Windu’s true journey—not only as the aviary keeper she once was, but as the heir to a power destined to restore balance to the world.
